Transportation to Referral Facilities
Prepare AHEAD of an emergency! Develop a list of contacts who can trailer your horse in an emergency if you are unable to do so. Maybe think twice before you block your trailer in a barn for the winter and it is not accessible. You never know when you may have to transport your horse or help a friend without a trailer. Often we can supply you with names, but you should have your own list as well.
